Web Development Services Needed

RFP for development of a website to host the Global Garlic Mustard Field Survey

We need to create a website for the Global Garlic Mustard Field Survey.  The ideal website would be modeled loosely after this one (http://www.evolutionmegalab.org/) and have the following features:

– a slick design
- a video or two within it (e.g via you tube)
- log-in for members to get to member-only pages
- data entry forms in those member-only pages (perhaps via google spreadsheets, if we can have some control over what can get entered into cells)
- a map (e.g. googlemap embedded within the site) that updates as different individuals input data so that everyone can see where data have already been collected
- various simple pages with content such as FAQ, teachers resources, all the basic directions both on the web and as pdfs for people to download

This site could be part of the invasionsRCN site here, potentially, but a separate site (e.g. WordPress) might be preferable if we can afford it.  We're looking either for a designer and a developer who can work together, or a single person who can do both design and development.

Please contact Ruth Hufbauer (hufbauer@lamar.colostate.edu) if you're interested.
